Hstry Website Timeline MakerThe HSTRY Timeline creator allows students to collaborate and create timelines. This Period 1 Timeline can be accessed as a student with code 19707.
Students could also create ans share their own timelines, and include historical information in addition to information provided in the book. |
Google Hangouts For EducationThrough this Google+ Community, Google Hangouts in Education, a teacher can search for other classrooms to create a Google Hangout. The Hangout could be with another class reading the book, a library in the area that Esperanza traveled, or adult who had experiences coming to America as an immigrant.
